Wow, what a whirlwind it has been! The past week has been a rollercoaster of excitement, nerves, and a whole lot of learning. As I sit down to reflect on my first steps into the world of real estate, I can't help but feel a mix of emotions – overwhelmed, exhilarated, and yes, a tad clumsy too.

Signing up for this journey meant diving headfirst into a sea of apps, orientations, and training documents. My brain feels like it's reached maximum capacity with all the new information flooding in. Regan and Matt weren't kidding when they said the real education begins after completing the course. At 50 years young, I find myself feeling like a wide-eyed kindergartener, eagerly soaking in every ounce of knowledge thrown my way. And let's not even get started on my technological prowess – or lack thereof!

But amidst the chaos, one thing is certain: I've survived my inaugural week in the real estate industry! With Regan and Matt by my side, guiding me through the maze of this new world, I'm confident I've made the right career move. From deciphering the mysteries of CRM to mastering the art of the quick phone call, it's been a wild ride of discovery.

Ah, and then there were the clients. The opportunity to show them houses – my heart was pounding with nerves, but there was a certain thrill in the air. Like most "first times," it was a bit awkward, a bit clumsy, but ultimately immensely satisfying. The first hurdle? Finding that elusive lockbox dangling in the dark, snow-filled night. After what felt like an eternity of fumbling, I finally cracked the code – quite literally – and we were in!

Of course, there were a few fumbles along the way, a couple of missed questions, but my clients appreciated the effort. A quick text message later that evening and all was well. Reflecting on this whirlwind of a week, I can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. This line of work feels like a glove that fits just right – the conversations, the houses, the camaraderie – it's all falling into place.

I've laughed, I've learned, and I've stumbled (quite literally), but through it all, I've been supported by wonderful mentors and friends who've been there every step of the way. And really, what more could a person ask for?

As I look forward to the journey that lies ahead, I do so with excitement, determination, and a newfound sense of confidence. Here's to many more adventures in the world of real estate!
